My name is Anri Gyuloyan, and I am an Architect and Designer, having B.Arch and M.Arch degrees from MARKHI. I also graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture with M.Arch at the Design Research Lab (AADRL) with distinction and the AAF Design prize 2018.
Currently, I work at MAD Architects in the main studio in Beijing. Collaborating with many gifted architects from all around the world I’m mostly engaged in public building projects. Learning MAD ethos and design language I’m becoming more professional and more integrated into its software culture
2018 - 2019 I’ve been working at the Collective Studio - Architectural bureau based in Hong Kong where I’m a part of the amazing design team working on commercial projects. At the time I participate in all design stages starting from initial concept, volumetric studies, schematic design, meeting with client and manufacturers and also working on design development drawings and submission documents.
Before Collective Studio, the investigation I was working on for 16 months at the AADRL was aiming to construct new architectural environments, where architecture becomes the adaptive interaction machine, simulated by human lifestyle and behaviour within problems of modern cultural public buildings.
My interests are based on computational, experimental design methods for new form-finding strategies and concept development. I firmly believe that the international architectural community is the best environment to push innovations into unique formations, which will enable architects to access the future needs of their clients.
